I was captivated by 3D Printing probably because I thought it was related to computers and was curious to know what was so great about it for getting a place in the science museum. I got the answers when I saw an amazing story about how 3D printing helped scientists to create a fully functional human kidney few months ago or rebuild human face and how the carpenter Richard Van made the open source mechanical hand on a consumer machine to replace his missing fingers. You can even print your own food, I am not kidding..:)..Please check this article from BBC to find out more.
